Originally trained in Kishinev, Moldova (former USSR), Dr. Aurel Chebanu brings extensive expertise in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery that enhances and elevates our general practice. He graduated in 1991 from the Medical State University of Moldova with a Physician Stomatologist degree, then went on to specialize and practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1991 to 1999. In 1998, he successfully defended his PhD thesis, further solidifying his academic and clinical foundation.

Dr. Chebanu has authored 25 publications in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and holds 12 certificates of innovation, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field. Since 1993, he has been an active speaker at international conferences, sharing his knowledge and experience with the global dental community. In 2003, he continued his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he completed the Advanced Standing Program and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2005.

Achieving harmony and balance in both overall and dental health is a central focus of Dr. Chebanu’s philosophy of care. He is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Dr. Chebanu is fluent in English, Russian, and Romanian, allowing him to connect with and care for a diverse patient community.
